He led a team to build the FDA cleared CardiacLinx mobile 12-lead ECG platform and oversees evidence-based medical operation protocol development for Ross Medical Corporation, which was published as some of the first cases of Hospital At Home cardiac management. Dr. Chiu was chairman of the Mobile Health SIG and Technology SIG for the American Telemedicine Association for more than 6 years and has contributed to documents for emergency and psychiatric care coordination over telehealth. He was the counselor of the telehealth section at the American College of Emergency Physicians and led teams improving emergency telehealth research and support for telehealth and 911. He led an advocacy team to help introduce a bill for emergencies during telemedicine. He is the founder and executive director of the not-for-profit organization The Ross Health Foundation, a group of doctors and logisticians dedicated to the fundraising and implementation efforts for international medical missions.
Previously, he designed robotics at the Stanford Genome Technology Center for high throughput gene deletion and was a synthetic chemist at Celera designing anti-cancer drugs. He received an MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, NY, an MBA from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He completed his emergency medicine specialty training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma and cardiac center, is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and is a diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine.

He is responsible for the current technology development and deployment of the COTTER® platform as well as developing all corporate technology infrastructure. Previously, he developed billing systems with Epic Systems electronic medical records including special modules for the Center for Medicare Medicaid Services and New York University Hospital. He received a BS in computer engineering from Brigham Young University and completed an MBA from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in supply chain and logistics.
Mr. Lee worked at Intel Corporation as Assistant Treasurer to the Vice President and Treasurer. Lee also brings experience from Pfizer Inc., where he served as the Managing Director responsible for the Dublin Treasury Services Center in Dublin, Ireland.
Maintained cutting edge technology to support manufacturing operations for customers in technology and consumer product industries. Designed and built four manufacturing/fulfillment plants in two states totaling over 460,000 square feet. Initiated and created ISO procedures, earning ISO 9002 certification in 1994 and subsequent ISO 9001:2001 and ISO 14001:2004 recertification. He wrote business plans and launched operations, finance and marketing procedures in 1982. Served as operations consultant before joining the company full time in 1988 and since retiring in 2016.

Laura is an outcomes-oriented professional with proven ability to lead diverse cross functional teams by leveraging relationships and resources to drive value. She has extensive experience in Operations, Consulting, Marketing, and Sales, is well versed in current healthcare industry issues, field sales challenges, and customer buying behaviors, is able to quickly identify key issues in complex situations, and streamline processes to quickly react to changing customer dynamics and proactively develop solutions. In her time at CarePoint Health, Laura acted as the SVP of Business Development and the Director of the Concierge Program, which she piloted and launched to improve patient retention within care coordination, growing visits for access to care to achieve 1 million visits in three years. Prior to CarePoint Health, Mrs. Shapiro dedicated 27 years to Siemens Healthcare, where she performed duties in marketing, management, strategic programs, consulting, global solutions, and culminating as the VP of CRM and Sales Operations.
